You can too!

After you order the book for yourself, send another copy of 37 Words to your elected representative (or someone else’s!). Then email me through my Contact page to tell me who you’ve gifted, and whether you’d like your name listed as the giver. I’ll update the list. You can find your Congressmembers and their addresses here.

Why? A generous donor helped me send copies of my first book to all 535 members of Congress. Among those receiving Plug-in Hybrids: The Cars That Will Recharge America in 2006 was a young senator named Barack Obama. I believe the book contributed to the development of federal policies that enabled the current generation of electric vehicles. Congressmembers — and just as important, their staff — should understand Title IX in order to make progress against sex discrimination. Let’s get 37 Words into the hands of every politician in the Capitol.
